Johnson & Johnson continues to be the top pharma company advertising in professional health journals by dollars, according to Kantar Media. Johnson & Johnson is the parent company of Janssen Pharmaceuticals, which markets Xarelto. Through April, Xarelto is the top drug advertised in professional health journals by dollars with $5 million.

Novartis did not make the list for top 5 companies advertising in professional health journals last month. It markets the product Afinitor, which is used to treat certain types of kidney cancer, breast cancer or brain tumors.
