Adults with COPD & Kidney Disease are More Likely to Eat Unhealthy
Which ailments have a high percentage of adults eating unhealthy? Excluding excessive sweating, data on more than 70 ailments in Kantar Media’s 2014 MARS Consumer Health Study shows the majority of the conditions listed with high percentages of adults eating an unhealthy diet are more chronic diseases that have a correlation to diet. Poor eating habits and obesity are associated with increased risk for kidney disease, according to research in the National Kidney Foundation's American Journal of Kidney Disease. Extra weight may also be a lifestyle factor that can cause DVT.
The study results suggest that people who suffer from chronic diseases are more likely say they eat an unhealthy diet. These are often the conditions that can most benefit from diet and exercise. For example, eating regular well-balanced meals can increase energy levels and improve your immune system, which may help reduce the risk of seizures.
On the other side, ailments with the highest percentage of sufferers eating a healthy/average diet were more likely to either be temporary ailments, ailments that don’t have an obvious connect to diet.
