Although Johnson & Johnson was the second ranked pharma company by ad spend in medical journals year-to-date in 2012, the company now has the #1 spot and its spend almost doubles that of Forest Laboratories (ranked #2). GlaxoSmithKline is a new addition to the top five list, with an investment of more than $10 million.
