The 2015 Pain Medicine Readership Study is new to Kantar Media Healthcare Research this year, bringing information related to various painful ailments, treatments and procedures. Our goal is to provide unbiased data about Pain Medicine media to assist publishers, editors, advertisers and marketing personnel. We know you want to make educated decisions when evaluating different media options, and we're here to help. We've pulled information from an audience of physicians spanning 7 different specialties within Pain Medicine or Pain Management. Our study also asks respondents to indicate how frequently and how in-depth they read 11 publications, each of which publishes at least 4 times per year.

To give you a preview of the type of insights we offer, here are the top 3 types of pain patients are reporting to physicians:

1. Chronic Pain - 98% of doctors report that they are seeing patients with this type of pain (49 patients per week)

2. Radial or Back Pain - 98% of doctors report that they are seeing patients with this type of pain (43 patients per week)

3. Depression-Related Pain - 90% of doctors report that they are seeing patients with this type of pain (27 patients per week)
