How Do Managed Care Execs Consume Media?

by Alejandro Alvarez

Kantar Media’s 2012 Managed Care Readership Study has been released, highlighting insights into how this audience consumes media.

One key finding: Between managed care executives and clinical decision makers, the latter not only received the highest number of publications (7.4) but also read the highest percentage of those received (75%).

In addition to readership questions on 14 magazines serving the managed care market and usage data on 20 websites, the survey explored managed care professionals' sources of information, internet and mobile use, search habits and more – all of which can be tied to their involvement in formulary decisions and role in the purchase decision process for ten supplies and equipment categories.

Subscribe to the full survey results to find out the information sources and media usage habits of clinical decision makers and executives, including medical directors and formulary committee members in managed care, hospital and nursing home settings.
