Majority of Doctors Who Have Participated in e-Detailing Say They Will Continue to Participate

About 78% of doctors that have participated in an e-detailing participation at least once in the past say that they plan to participate again in the future, according to the Sources & Interactions Study, September 2013 – Medical/Surgical Edition.

However, 52% of doctors haven’t ever participated in a pharmaceutical manufacturer e-detail presentation. Further, only 26% did so in the last six months. Of the 29% of doctors who say they don’t see sales representatives, and among this group 30% have participation in e-detailing at least once in the past. More than half (55%) of doctors who see sales reps have participated in e-detailing in the past.
